Two days of Bicycle Safety Research at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, with three events: 1) workshop AsPeCSS-project 2) International Cycling Safety Conference 2012, 3) SAVECAP demo.
  • On the 7th and 8th of November, three international bicycle safety research activities will be organized at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands. The AsPeCSS-project organizes a workshop on the 7th of November starting at 11 am. More information on www.aspecss-project.eu The International Cycling Safety conference 2012 (ICSC2012) on the 7th and 8th of November including an informal evening program. Register on this site  The SAVECAP demo event on the 8th of November ends at 1.30 pm. More information and registration on www.savecap.org. The ICSC2012 intends to be the premium forum for researchers and development engineers in the field of cycling safety to exchange their knowledge, to extent their network and to bring up new research topics and safety solutions. This conference is a Dutch initiative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, TNO, Fietsberaad (Dutch center of expertise on bicycle policy), SWOV and Delft University of Technology. We are proud to present you the ICSC2012 program. We are very pleased with the variety in bicycle safety aspects and the variety in nationalities. The total costs for the conference are 150 Euro including dinner on the 7th of November. The AsPeCSS and SAVECAP events are free of charge and will also be held at the Automotive Campus in Helmond.
