Region Arnhem Nijmegen nominated for the final of Velocity 2017

Velocity, held annually, is the biggest bicycle conference in the world. In uneven years it is held in Europe, in even years in one of the other continents. Between 1,500 and 1,700 participants are expected from all over the world.&

The 2014 conference was held in Adelaide (Australia). In 2015, Nantes (France) will be the venue. Taipei (Taiwan) will host the conference in 2016.

For 2017, the Arnhem-Nijmegen region has selected ‘The Freedom of Cycling’ as its theme. The conference is scheduled for June 13 to 16. A decision on the venue of the 2017 conference is expected at the end of December of this year.
