Dronten, N23, tunnel under roundabout outside town. The new N23 will be connected to the existing N307 near Dronten by way of a roundabout. In order to create a safe route to the schools a bicycle tunnel will be constructed underneath the roundabout and part of the tunnel will be cut away at the same time.

Pernis, Vondelingenweg, rolling bike path. In Pernis cyclists have to overcome a height difference of 8 metres when crossing the harbour railway line. In order to encourage cyclists local authorities in Rotterdam have constructed a rolling bike path in 2003. The rolling bike path cost 2,25 million Euro. Funding for the rolling bike path was provided by the Rotterdam authorities and the Rotterdam metropolitan district.

Deventer, Henri Dunantlaan, bicycle tunnel. Underneath the intersection Henri Dunantlaan – Rielerweg in Deventer a bicycle tunnel is being constructed as part of a high-grade conflict-free cycle route between the Vijfhoek residential neighbourhood and Deventer town centre. In a very limited space the tunnel, ramps and the connection to the intersection for motor vehicles have been realised.

Zaanstad, train station neighbourhood, De Buiging. Local authorities in Zaanstad have ambitious plans for developing the town centre and train station neighbourhoods: a new city hall, new library, homes, office buildings, shops, etc. Even restoration of a filled-in canal to its former glory. A bicycle bridge across the railway and a provincial road is an integral part of the plans.
