Outside the Netherlands

Data about bicycle use in other countries and cities abroad are particularly interesting in comparisons. A new German-language brochure provides a (necessarily) highly summary survey of global bicycle use: Cycling, the clever way to move. The English version of the final report of Masterplan Fiets The Dutch Bicycle Master Plan contains a historical comparison of bicycle policies and bicycle use in 9 European cities as well. In the introductory chapter of  Fietsberaad publication 7. Continuous and integral: The cycling policies of Groningen and other European cycling cities bicycle data for a large number of European countries and cities have been compiled.
